CBSE STEM-DLD EXPERT-LED WORKSHOP
Mahavir Senior Model School, G.T. Karnal Road conducted a session on district level deliberations on Stem education. The enriching and reflective session was witnessed by 64 enthusiastic educators from 34 schools. It equipped the educators with the innovative ideas to make the young minds think critically and innovatively. The vibrant environment was upraised by the gracious presence of highly accomplished and eminent resource person Dr. Amit Bhattacharya, a professor from Ramjas College, Delhi university who spoke on the topic--Connecting the dots: Pathways to innovative stem education, Dr. Pratibha Kohli, Principal Maharaja Agrasen Model School, Pitampura shared her innovative ideas on the topic-Bridging minds-Design and Computational thinking for STEM innovators and Ms. Anita Sharma Mathematics expert and NCERT Advisor delivered her talk on the topic-Application of Prime numbers in emerging knowledge domains. All the three sessions focussed on problem solving, equipping our students with knowledge, fostering critical thinking, developing 21st century skills and inspiring them by introducing STEM in our classroom teaching.
