Celebration of National Space Day

National Space Day, observed on 23rd August, celebrates India’s space achievements and inspires young minds toward scientific exploration.
As a prelude, students visited the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota, on 30th July 2025 and witnessed the live launch of the NISAR satellite, a joint ISRO–NASA mission. On 20th August, MSMS students participated in an Interschool Model Making Competition at Nehru Planetarium on “Chandrayaan-4 – Gateway to Moon’s Secrets.” The next day, a “Space Extempore” tested students’ knowledge of space missions.
The celebrations concluded with the inauguration of the Platinum Gallery at the Prime Minister Museum & Library on 23rd August by Chief Guest Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla. The Funtech Science Club further enriched the event with a creative Model Making Competition.
