Earth Day Celebrations

MSMS celebrated Earth Day with great enthusiasm and active participation from students of various classes. Class 5 students showcased their artistic skills through a Wall Hanging Activity , where they prepared beautiful hangings using eco-friendly and recycled materials, spreading messages about saving the Earth. Class 6 students participated in a Poster making Activity . Their posters were vibrant and meaningful, highlighting issues like pollution, conservation of resources, and the importance of protecting our planet. Students of Class 7 and Class 8 worked on an innovative Plastic Bottle Garden Activity. They reused discarded plastic bottles to create small gardens, promoting the idea of recycling and sustainable living.
Students of Class 9 organized an Awareness rally within the school premises. They raised slogans and carried placards to spread awareness about environmental conservation. In association with Virwes, a Waste paper collection drive was carried out in which students collected 150 kg of paper waste which was purposefully recycled. An informative Assembly on Earth Day was conducted in which students pledge to protect mother Earth. A beautiful board was decorated with plastic bottle caps making best use of waste.
