Debate Competition

A debate competition  aimed  to create awareness among students of grade 11 and 12 about the importance of biodiversity and its impact on human survival  at the global level was conducted under the RIDS program. Topic of the debate was biodiversity thrives humanity survives. Highly informative and thought provoking event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, with participants speaking both in favour of and against the motion. The debate highlighted various environmental challenges and conservation efforts across different countries, especially India, Canada, Bangkok (Thailand), and Sri Lanka, giving the discussion an international perspective. Students acknowledged that development should not take place at the cost of nature and biodiversity.
