Exploring Imagination — A Tribute to Shakespeare : Bard Of Avon
The spirit of the Elizabethan age came alive in the school as students enthusiastically celebrated Shakespeare’s Day on 23 April through a series of engaging literary and creative activities inspired by the life and works of William Shakespeare.
Students explored themes from The Merchant of Venice and The Tempest through expressive reading, role play, storytelling, creative presentations, and visual biographical sketches. The activities encouraged learners to use imagination, expression, and performance to bring literature to life while reflecting on themes of mercy, humanity, magic, and creativity.
The celebration provided students with an enriching platform to enhance their speaking, comprehension, presentation, and creative thinking skills while developing a deeper appreciation for literature and dramatic arts. The enthusiastic participation of students made the event lively, interactive, and meaningful.
