World Poetry Day Celebrations 2026
“Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.” — Robert Frost
MSMS celebrated World Poetry Day on 21st March 2026 with students from Grades II–XII turning thoughts into verse. Grades II–V created acrostic poems and vibrant posters on Spring, building fluency and creativity. Grade VI penned heartfelt verses on Childhood, while Grade VII wrote on Equality and unity. Grade VIII raised awareness of SDG 3: Good Health & Well-being through poems on hygiene and mental health. Grade X honoured Women Empowerment with powerful compositions, and Grade XII reflected on War and Peace with maturity and depth.
Through brainstorming, writing, and confident recitations, students strengthened language skills, empathy, and social awareness. The celebration nurtured creativity and proved that poetry shapes young minds.
