“Superfoods Spotlight – Role Play Competition”

 

As part of the RIDS International Collaboration Activity, MSMS organized an engaging “Superfoods Spotlight – Role Play Competition” based on the theme “Health-O-Frenzy” on Monday, 6 July 2026 for the students of Grade-VII.

The activity created awareness about the nutritional value of various super grains and SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 5 (Gender Equality), strengthened international collaboration and cultural appreciation enhancing students’ communication, creativity, confidence and presentation skills. They acquired knowledge about the food habits of different countries.

Students of Grade VII enthusiastically portrayed different super grains grown across the world, emphasizing their nutritional benefits and contribution to a healthier lifestyle.  The role plays featured students’ presentation as Bajra – The Pride of India,Proso Millet – China, Foxtail Millet – South Korea and Finger Millet (Ragi) – Sri Lanka.

They emphasized that although the grains originate from different countries but they share a common purpose—to nourish people, support sustainable agriculture and contribute towards a healthier world. The event inspired students to make healthier food choices while appreciating the rich diversity of nutritious grains grown around the world. It reinforced the message that small grains can create a big impact on our health, our environment, and our future.
