Food Fiesta  – “Global Cuisine”

Mahavir Senior Model School successfully organized a Food Fiesta Competition – “Global Cuisine” on Wednesday,22nd July 2026 under the theme Health-O-Frenzy. The activity emphasised on creating the global awareness and to give hand-on experience of world cultures to our students.

The competition aimed to make our students understand global diversity in food and culture. The objective was to foster international collaboration and cultural exchange. Students of Grades VIII participated enthusiastically in pairs, plating the cuisines of India, South Korea, China, and Sri Lanka.

The participants creatively plated the recipes of the country assigned to them. They explained the nutritive value, ingredients used, method of preparation and the food culture of the respective countries. Our young chefs presented their dishes confidently and enjoyed the global flavours of food and the nutrients present in the food that help us to maintain good health.

The competition was a great success and reflected the spirit of international collaboration and global citizenship. It also encouraged them to appreciate cultural diversity and learn through experiential learning.

It was a celebration of global unity. Students realised that by preparing and sharing dishes of different countries they have learnt that recipes may differ but the joy of sharing food is universal.
