The Next Horizon – Rethinking the Teachers’ Role

Mahavir Senior Model School hosted an inspiring Teachers’ Seminar that brought together 100+ educators from 20+ schools for a meaningful exchange of ideas, insights and perspectives. Principal Mrs. Ruchika Sukhija set the context by highlighting the evolving role of educators. Major General P. K. Saighal led a thought-provoking session on “Expectations from Teachers in Today’s Environment,” emphasising future-ready skills, emotional intelligence, technology and real-world preparedness. This was followed by an insightful session by Ms. Sarita Jadav, National Programme Officer, UNESCO, on “Safe and Inclusive Learning Environments.” The seminar reaffirmed that teachers are mentors, facilitators, emotional anchors and architects of tomorrow.
