Students of Class XII-D visited the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya, New Delhi, on 25 September 2026, under the theme “Jan Se Gan Tak – India: Mother of Democracy.”
The guided and interactive visit enabled students to trace India’s democratic journey—from the Gana-Sanghas of the time of Buddha and Mahavira to the making of the Constitution and the functioning of modern democratic institutions. Through exhibits, discussions and reflection, students strengthened their understanding of constitutional values, democratic processes, Fundamental Rights, the Election Commission and electoral participation.
The experience encouraged critical thinking, civic awareness and meaningful connections between classroom learning and real-world contexts, making it a valuable step towards developing informed and responsible citizens.
