In April 2018, the United Nations General Assembly declared June 3 as International World Bicycle Day.The resolution for World Bicycle Day recognizes "the uniqueness, longevity and versatility of the bicycle, which has been in use for two centuries, and that it is a simple, affordable, reliable, clean and environmentally fit sustainable means of transport."

To celebarate this day, various activities were conducted across the classes II to VIII in which the students participated easily & actively, such as :

In order to celebrate the day at MSMS, the Department of Mathematics organized various activities across the classes II to VIII in which the students participated easily & actively, such as :

• Clicking a picture while riding the bicycle,
• Writing/drawing a picture depicting the advantages of a bicycle. 
• Shooting a video while riding the bicycle & telling the benefits of cycling. 
• Drawing/writing the history & importance of bicycle. 
• Making a model of bicycle from the waste materials ( BEST OUT OF WASTE ). 
• Poster making & slogan writing related to the environment. 

Overwhelming responses were received, students enjoyed every bit of their activities & learned the importance of bicycle & cycling, how it's an eco-friendly & a healthy habit which one can develop easily. They also took an initiative to aware others on the same.
