Learning by Doing - Getting to know Plants

Students of class 6, completed their chapter Getting to know Plants by doing various activities throughout for better understanding. Following are some of the activities performed:

• Sketching Leaf Venation
• Recognising Flower parts through Dissection
• Identifying Tap or Fibrous Roots
• Developing activities to understand Transpiration

Inculcating scientific temper in students is the first goal of science teaching at MSMS. By involving students in such experiences it is exciting them to ask the right questions and find answers through scientific enquiry.
