Educational Excursion to Entomology Lab, Ramjas College, Delhi University

 Biology students of class XI C and XII C visited the Entomology Lab of Ramjas College,  DU for insect documentation done by Dr.M.Ojit Kumar Singh, Professor, Ramjas College.Objective of the Visit was to create interest in the students regarding the process of scientific studies. They observed and learnt about various insect species. Students gained hands-on experience with entomological equipment and techniques.

Dr.Ojit  talked about the method of preparation of insect specimens for museums.He discussed insect morphology, behaviour, ecological roles, importance of insects in agriculture, medicine, and biodiversity. Prof.Ajay Arora, Principal,  Ramjas College took keen interest in interacting with the students. He discussed the importance of scientific temperament and also their takeaways from the visit.
